Support for parents and carers
Coping with a child with poor mental health can be worrying and a challenge for parents and carers. We are here to support children and their families so please do not be afraid to reach out to the St. Mewan team.
In addition to this, there are many organisations who offer support and advice online. The Anna Freud Centre is a fantastic resource for schools, parents and children, containing a huge amount of resources and information which can help with a range of issues.

This website has some useful videos for parents and carers to help children understand funerals and deal with grief at Christmas and special occasions. It also has an extensive list of books which can be used with your child to help them prepare for the death of someone as well as understand the loss once someone has died.
