A very warm welcome to our school website. I am very proud to be the Headteacher of St. Mewan CP School where we have an amazing team of talented, dedicated staff and energetic, enthusiastic and happy children.
Although we are a large, two-form entry school with a nursery, our ethos is ‘small school feel, large school setting’. Our school is committed to safeguarding children with the health, safety and emotional wellbeing of every child being our main priorities.
Our aim is that children will thrive during their time with us, in a happy and safe environment and reach their full potential through experiencing a stimulating curriculum and wide range of extracurricular activities.
It is vitally important to us that our children enjoy their time at our school; positive and supportive teamwork is central to this and is reflected in our school mission statement.
